The National Congress for Ophthalmology (NOG, Nederlands Oogheelkundig Gezelschap) took place in the MECC Maastricht conference centre from 27th to 29th March 2019.

The NOG Congress was a huge success, with the highest number of registered visitors. This year almost reach 1400 people visiting the Congress.

The surgical and the pharma team from Bausch+Lomb Netherlands attended the Congress. We were greeting the Dutch ophthalmologists at our booth, where we noticed the larger influx this year.  

The NOG Program was full of insightful symposia, surgeries, mystery cases, posters and a lot of interesting and entertaining discussions, in which we proudly participated. The scientific program on Friday afternoon was completely dedicated to cataract surgery, with the main symposium carried by Dr. Douglas Koch, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA.

We enjoyed our time together, and we hope you could meet the team and learn with us about the latest technologies in the ophthalmologic field.
