The Australasian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons 23^rd Conference was held in stunning Queenstown, New Zealand from 17-20 July.

During three days, the AUSCRS featured the regular sessions along with other creative ones. The theme of this year was Crystal Clear where there was an extraordinary list of local and international speakers.

The program included presentations and discussions on pearls to improve cataract outcomes, optimizing toric and multifocal IOL implantations and trends in refractive surgery.

Bausch + Lomb attended the AUSCRS and welcomed all ophthalmic surgeons who visited. Bausch + Lomb also sponsored a Breakfast Symposium on Frontiers in Intra-Operative Data & IOL technology which was presented by Dr Mitch Shultz. Dr Mitch Shultz (USA) is an internationally recognised expert in cataract and refractive surgery Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and American College of Ophthalmic Surgeons. At the Symposium, he shared his experiences on Bausch + Lomb’s comprehensive technologies in cataract and refractive surgery to help improve practice efficiency and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Surgeons and practice staff had the opportunity to visit the Bausch + Lomb booth and discuss our latest technologies with the team including Stellaris Elite^TM.
