Once again B+L shows its commitment with cataract and refractive surgery and their professionals.

The recent 23^rd ESCRS Winter Meeting in Athens, Greece, held in conjunction with the 33^rd International HSIOIRS Meeting, was the most successful Winter ESCRS meeting to-date. 1873 delegates from 71 countries attended the congress. This meeting offered lectures and workshops targeting ophthalmologists who had the opportunity to meet the Bausch + Lomb team and learn about our latest innovations on our booth.

Young ophthalmologists carried out their own session, where they introduced many clinical cases, which gave the opportunity of discussing about them and provided a deep learning for residents and also for mentors.

The highly scientific programme included the 3D Near Live Surgery Session in which Bausch + Lomb proudly took part and had the opportunity of performing a live surgery, carried out by Doctor Luigi Caretti, from Rovigo (Italy), presenting a 3D video of Femtosecond Laser Cataract Surgery using the VICTUS Femtosecond Laser Platform, the Stellaris Elite vision enhancement system and implanting the EyeCee One Crystal Preloaded IOL. This live surgery session was offered through video streaming to the audience, who found it insightful and worthwhile.
